“I live in one of the most beautiful areas of the world with nearby emerald waters and white sandy beaches. It is my hope to teach swim, safety and awareness lessons to young children in the area in my spare time and bring awareness of local problems such as littering and water hazards to tourists by swimming and speaking with people as a mermaid. I found a “tailor” who makes authentic looking swimmable, durable tails via themertailor.com and if I reach my goal I will be able to order a tail for myself and friend who is also passionate about doing this. Some of the money will also be used for promotion of the idea in the area as well as 2 “surf bags” to transport the tails in.”
